Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes the information WarpDVR ("WarpDVR", "we", "us") collects when you use warpdvr.com, our APIs, and our desktop app (together, the "Service"), and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Discord we receive your name, email address, avatar, and a provider identifier. We also store the handle and profile details you choose.
Content you upload. Videos, audio (including audio from phone "stick cam" recordings), thumbnails, and related metadata such as duration, resolution, frame rate, and file hashes, plus titles, comments, reactions, groups, and race or lap data you create.
Third-party profile data. If you link a MultiGP profile, we read publicly available information from your MultiGP pilot page.
Usage and device data. Pages visited, views and interactions with clips, IP address, browser and device type, and similar technical logs. We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions and analytics, including Google Analytics.
Communications. Anything you send us, for example through Discord.
How we use information
To provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate you; to store, process, transcode, and play back your footage; to display content you make public; to measure usage; to detect abuse and enforce our Terms; to communicate with you about the Service; to develop new features; and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
Public content. Clips, profiles, and comments you make public, or share by link, can be seen by anyone with access, and may be copied or reshared by others outside our control.
Service providers. We use vendors to operate the Service, such as Cloudflare (hosting, storage, delivery), cloud compute providers for video processing, Google and Discord (sign-in, and Google Analytics), and similar providers. They may process data only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of WarpDVR, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If WarpDVR is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to run the Service or as required by law. You can delete your footage and request deletion of your account; see our Data Deletion Policy. Backups, caches, and logs may persist for a limited period afterward, and copies others have made of public content are outside our control.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update profile details in settings, delete content, unlink MultiGP, and request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or objection). Contact us to exercise them. You can also block cookies in your browser, though parts of the Service may stop working.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
WarpDVR and its providers operate in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review it periodically.
